Study Abroad in Moscow, Russia
Our language learning programs offer American students
the opportunity to spend a semester in Russia studying Russian language and Russian studies courses taught in English on a beautiful campus just across the street from the historical Kuskovo estate.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Russian Language
Intensive Russian language course, which is taught at all levels, in a small (4-6 persons) groups – 15-18 hours weekly.
Lectures in English
Lecture courses taught in English. The two lecture classes per semester:
Russia Today
Russian Civilization
Culture and Social activity
Weekly visits to the best Moscow theaters, concert halls, sport arenas
- Weekly field trips and culture visits to the major Moscow places of interest


Accommodation and Meals
Our students are offered dual occupancy rooms located on campus in our university's recently renovated dormitory with Wi-Fi and within 5 minutes distance from the classrooms
Meals ( breakfast and lunch) are provided on the weekdays at university cafeteria
Transportation
Airport transfers are arranged
Metro cards are provided for the whole program period
Visa and registration
Invitation letter for the Study visa is provided for the studnets and their registration upon arrival



Our Semester and Summer school programs include:
Intensive Russian Language course
Intensive Russian learning program, which is taught at all levels, in a small (4-6 persons) groups – 15-18 hours weekly. All of our classes are designed to meet ACTFL standards with our teaching methodology. Classes typically last from 10.00 a.m. to 13.30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The students can earn up to 10-12 credits for Russian Language classes.
Lecture courses taught in English
Two lecture classes per semester: Russia Today, Russian Civilization.
Each lecture course is 3 credits. No more than 2 lecture courses per semester are allowed.
Academic credits: 15-16 for one semester. Check with the Sponsoring institution.
Culture and Social Activity
Any Russian language immersion program would be incomplete without the knowledge of the country's culture. Each week we offer cultural events which give our students a way to experience Russia on a first hand basis. Each week, we take our students from the United States to two cultural events ranging from concerts, theaters, operas, ballets, the Moscow Circus and sporting events once on a weekday and the other on the weekend. These events are all included at no extra cost for our American students.

- Mid -semester 4 days trip to Saint Petersburg
Accommodation and meals
Students from the USA are offered dual occupancy rooms located on campus in our university's recently renovated dormitory with internet access and within 5 minutes distance from the classrooms.

Breakfast and lunch are provided for our dormitory students at our campus cafeteria during the week-days.
Airport transfers
We meet the students at any of Moscow airports and arrange the transfer to the airport at the end of their program in Moscow.
We provide Metro pass for Moscow subway system during the program.
Invitation letter and registration in Moscow
We provide the official Letter of invitation which allow to apply for Russia Study visa .
On arrival we secure the oficial registration of the students visas here in Moscow for the whole period of their study.

Our students enjoy truly academic environment on the 150-acre campus of Moscow University for the Humanities located in the south-eastern part of Moscow in a beautiful area not far from the famous XVIII century estate Kuskovo which is well known for its park and lakes with easy access from downtown Moscow by subway. It is just 6 metro stops to Kremlin.

Here the students may find everything necessary for fruitful academic experience (classrooms, dormitories, cafeteria, swimming pool, gym, etc.) and enormous possibilities to communicate with the Russian students on daily basis.

Russian language programs 2017:
Spring: January 9 - April 22, 2017
Summer: May 23 - July 29, 2017
Fall: September 4– December 17, 2017
The students should arrive during the week-end before the program starts and leave during the last week-end of the program.
